AMD and Intel racing to be the best Processor for your PC.

Intel and AMD are two major manufacturers of computer processors. They have been growing and getting better every year. Over time these two manufacturers have made a lot of great technological improvements and have inspired many other modern chip sets such as the M1 chip that is produces by Apple. Over time, as more and more people decide between these CPU’s (central processing unit) for their different capabilities, they tend to categorized these two into 2 different generalized tasks, gaming and working.

Intel has been commonly referred to as the best workstation processor, which is accurate because they pack a lot of power within their newer models such as the i9 11th gen. They are common among computers that you might find at a job because of their accessibility, and their prices. They are even common among many other people who like to build computers for their own personal uses due to the processors reliability, as well as its quick and powerful take on large applications.

AMD is usually referred to as the gaming CPU due to its common use among gamers and people who are more based around PC building. This is becuase this CPU is very common high performance gamers and people who usually are based around the gaming aspect of a PC that they have such a large variety of build qualities base around all sorts of tasks that you might find on a PC, such as video editing, gaming, or overclocking in general.

Over time, it has been shown through data that AMD has been the more popular choice when it comes to CPUs, this because AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (an older CPU model) becomes the best selling CPU on Amazon US. This shows how that even though Intel brings a very high use in laptops from Chromebooks to Microsoft, they aren’t able to beat the sear power the AMD offers. AMD is by far the most powerful processor to be on the market if you referring to their newest model, because many of the older AMD Ryzen models can be beaten by those of Intel, and vise versa. This is why these two companies have been in constant competitiveness to be the top selling CPU company. They are always topping and making something better every few months, which is crazy to see because of how many advancements have been made by both these companies in only the past few years.

Best Intel processor: Core i3, i5, i7 and i9 explained | Trusted Reviews

Me personally, for my CPU of choice, I decided to get an Intel i9 10850k. I made this choice of purchasing an Intel over an AMD because of my main focuses for my PC. I am not reliant and focusing on games, but it is a factor of the PC, but I am mostly focusing on raw power for video editing, photo editing, programming, and design. This is really common for Intel products because they pack sear power for lower prices which is much better than getting the equivalent in an AMD Ryzen processor because it would cost much more.

Another thing to keep in mind when you are comparing these two processors is that they are very much alike, and what you are focusing on really is the compatibility to the other components of the PC (this is at least for the custom builders). Always make sure that you have the right CPU socket size for both your mother and your CPU, and make sure the motherboard says that it’s either supportive of Intel or AMD, but chose the one that you’re going to get.

Once again, there is no clear winner of which processor is best, it is all preference and the task you plan on doing, which could greatly change the outcome of how much you can get done in the future. Always be careful when buying because they are expensive, and it would not be fun to have to return those types of components.
